Ouhout meubels was established in 1988 by co-owners Piet – and Stephan Smith. This dynamic father and son team, who in a time of change, decided to take the risk and created something from nothing. One can compare their achievement to taking a regular piece of wood, adding a bit of love and attention to detail, and changing it into a wall unit.
Today, 35 years later, Ouhout Meubels are far apart from their humble beginnings and proud of 2 streamlined factories with highly qualified craftsmen and 19 retail outlets nationwide.
Since Ouhout Meubles’ inception we have served more than 50 000 clients and still strongly believe that our clients are the lifeblood of our business. Most of our work is generated through repeat – and referred business due to our extensive range, exclusively, option to customize, service and craftsmanship.
